NOTE: The BOD is working on revising the ACC rule 6.5 which deals with the permitting, design and construction of greenhouses. The BOD is also conducting a member survey to get input concerning lighting, sheds and other topics. Members--check your email for this survey!
A Property Improvement Request is required for exterior painting, roof replacement, changing exterior finishes, repair/replacement of flatwork (concrete/asphalt/etc) or adding flatwork, room or deck additions, adding permanent yard structures, adding a shed, adding a greenhouse, etc. See below for the request process.
The first step is to submit a property improvement request to the ACC. There are two ways to submit a Property Improvement Request to the ACC. The first is to click on the Electronic Property Improvement Request and fill out the form. The second is to print out the Paper Property Improvement Request, fill it out, and give it to a member of the ACC (call 719-741-0265 or email exofficio@myhpoa.co) to coordinate form drop off. NOTE: There is a $25 review fee associated with each request. At this time, the only way of payment is by check.
2. The ACC has 45 days to notify applicants of approval or disapproval.
